Fair thee well. This is a brilliant idea and I look forward to some brilliant reporting (if that's the right term for blogging). At least there should be some daylight when you return!

Good luck on your "World Experience Tour". Can't say I'm jealous - warm weather, sunshine, ocean views - who needs that when you've got rain, dark evenings and nothing on the TV. Have a fab trip, & keep safe.

Hi Alex/Urs - I'm so sorry we missed you before you went. I hope you have a fantastic time. Be sure to have breakfast at the Cheesecake Factory in San Fran (top of Macy's in Union Square). Delicious and very filling! Have an amazing time!

Thank you Ursula and Alex for the splendid time we had at Postrio's on Saturday night. We managed to recover sufficiently well to go and see the Redwoods at Muir Woods on Sunday afternoon (just)! Keep in touch as you enjoy the rest of your life-stylechanging trip!

Well lets hope for your sakes that its warm and sunny in New Zealand. 2 inches of snow this morning and it took almost 2 hours to get to work - much nicer than sun, warmth, no traffic. Enjoy

aiEnjoyed reading Stage 1. It was probably the change in climate that gave you that headache! Have e-mailed you.

We all have first martini stories and there is the Martini Bar in London that features 7 different types! Just the thing, as winter has now gone and we have daffodils out!
